Hello, my name is Hristina Pencheva and I am a portrait painter.

I have been painting since my early age and during my education and training I discovered the portrait to be a very special and love demanding part of my life. I majored traditional fine art in Dobri Hristov National High School of Arts, (city of Varna, Bulgaria) www.artschool-varna.com, and later I attended Branimir Antonov’s school of abstract art. The traditional techniques of the art of painting together with the innovatory methods and skills of the abstraction provided me with a sound and rich base, on which I could build up my own conception of the world and uncover the love to the detail and refinement of the portrait art. The elaboration in the area of portrait study, the evening acts of naked body and my knowledge on plastic anatomy helped me develop into a professional portrait painter. My specialization in fine arts at the National Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, (Rome, Italy) www.accademiabelleartiroma.it, together with my stay in this beautiful country, abundant in incredible variety of monuments of art, helped me perfect my sense of detail and add to my scope of artistic means of expression in painting art. The years to follow devoted in working in the field of portrait art made me popular with clients from all over the world. A lot of my portraits are owned by people from Germany, England, France, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Russia, USA and Canada.

I have participated in many exhibitions, planners and happenings in my home country.
